Reasons for Giving back via the PPP Program

Pandemic Preroll Program

During the pandemic, we have continued to take care of those in need in the communities in the District surrounding our North Capital store via multiple feed the homeless events; we will continue to do that (insert date of next one here).  Now that we are gaining momentum on vaccinations, District restrictions are being relaxed and businesses are really starting to open up again, we want to kick off more programs to serve the DMV area!  We have chosen to give back to the citizens of the DMV in a totally unique and revolutionary program that we are calling the Pandemic Preroll Program (PPP), which gives back to three sections of the community that are each dear to me (and the All American Papers family).

The first is to the military veterans that live in the DMV area.

I was raised in a military family where several members have served in various branches of the armed forces.  I’m therefore patently aware of the sacrifices that they may make, mentally, physically and financially.  Some of them feel left behind after serving and forgotten about but we started this business with the intentions of homeless Vets being our biggest benefactor group and although we have done lots over the years always wish to do more.  We are also aware of the VERY MANY ways that cannabis gifts and CBD that we share can be beneficial in ways that the local VA cannot.  Especially since the current laws will not allow VA doctors to prescribe either cannabis or CBD.  We however know that most Vets have experimented with addressing everything from chronic pain, psychological issues, sleep disorders and eating disorders with cannabis and CBD but being on fixed incomes most can’t afford them even IF they have the funds and the access to a medical facility.  Therefore, on Monday and Wednesday of every week the first 100 Vets to show up will be two GIFTED free Prerolls by showing their VA card or a copy of their DD-214.

The second are the numerous cancer patients in the DMV area.

I have lost two close family members due to cancer and at least 4 friends since high school.  This is an issue that near and dear to my heart and I’d like to think that all we do every day could help to make another life better-- and all of the team here at ALL AMERICAN feel the same way. There are many that are either struggling with one of the many various forms of this vastly debilitating affliction, the side affects from the exhausting drugs and various other chemical treatments that help some achieve remission and the lingering conditions that happen years later.  We know that almost no insurance company will allow for cannabis to be prescribed or even just reimbursed.  We endeavor to help fix that to the extent that we can with the Cancer patient portion of the PPP—every Tuesday and Thursday the first 100 members who can provide us with a letter from their doctor that they are (or have been) in a cancer treatment or remission program will be two GIFTED free Prerolls.

The third are the numerous unemployed members in the DMV area.

We know its tough out there in this Pandemic economy and we want you to know we are here for you.  We are acutely aware that there are tens of thousands of unemployed DMV members who have been struggling to get back to work to no avail. So every Friday, we will provide two free Prerolls to the first 100 members who can show that they are currently receiving unemployment compensation. We hope this helps you through the weekend with a less anxious and clearer head for the next weeks job search.

Furthermore, we want you to know that even if you are not a member of one of these targeted communities you are helping us continue to do this work through your $1 monthly membership, which goes to funding more community programs like this one.  We have been through a lot since we started this journey-- including police raids, DCRA harassment, city and federal government pressure--  while trying to make positive changes in this community.  However, we wake up every day knowing that you guys need us; we will do our best to remain here for you and stay in the fight. We hope our newest program will be meaningful to the District communities we love and appreciate.

Sincerely Yours

All American Papers, DC Based Cannabis Business,
Creates “Pandemic Pre-roll Program,” a Health and
Wellness Initiative to Provide Free Cannabis

Products to Military Veterans

All American Papers -is known for prioritizing and providing for the
DMV area’s military veterans with access to free cannabis gifts.
Robust research shows the mental and physical benefits of cannabis
use for Veterans suffering from depression, PTSD,
disabilities/ailments and general hardships.

(Washington, DC - 4.3.21) - With April 20% approaching, the cannabis industry
and supporting enthusiasts now enjoy a national day of celebration which provides
a platform and highlights a culture that is embraced by a large part of the American public. It seems only certain politicians or competing industries do not support the prevalent plant and all that it can provide to society. However, there are businesses like DC-based All American Papers (AAP) that are taking aid into their own hands
through home-grown programs in their community. AAP is championing health and wellness for vets via their “Pandemic Pre-roll Program” geared toward gifting cannabis to military veterans that would not otherwise have easy access to the wellness that weed can provide.

JP, Co-Founder of AAP, explains the program’s origins and mission, “We have chose to give back to the citizens of the DMV in a direct-aid method with this revolutionary and wellness-inspired program that we are calling the “Pandemic Pre-roll Program” or PPP. We are going to give back to a section of the community that is dear to me -military veterans that live in the DMV area. I was raised in a military family where several members have served in various branches of the armed forces. I’m therefore patently aware of the sacrifices that they may make, mentally, physically and financially. Some of them feel left behind after serving and forgotten about, but we started this business with the intentions of homeless vets being our biggest beneficiary group, and although we have done lots over the years, we always wish to do more. We are also aware of the numerous ways that cannabis gifts and CBD we share can be beneficial in ways that the Department of Veterans Affairs cannot. Especially since the current laws will not allow VA doctors to prescribe either cannabis or CBD. However, we know that a lot of vets have experimented with addressing everything from chronic pain, psychological issues, sleep disorders and
eating disorders with cannabis and CBD. But, on fixed incomes most can’t afford the helpful products even if they have other forms of income or access to a medical facility. Therefore, on Monday and Wednesday of every week the first 100 vets to show up will be gifted free pre-rolls by showing their VA card.”

AAP is not just for veterans - they welcome any and all over 21. They offer multiple products like baked goods and treats, paraphernalia, accessories and more at multiple locations in the DC metro area.
